Conclusion
Every year during the Fantasy Football playoffs, we see surprises that cause upsets in the first round. This season, we saw the “Chalk” hit at the QB position with Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, and Lamar Jackson having big games, along with Jared Goff, who is always better at home. Pathetic performances by Will Levis and Kirk Cousins will send both to the bench this week.
Many championship teams this year will feature Chase Brown, who once again hit the top five for the RBs, joined by Jahmyr Gibbs, James Conner, James Cook, and Tyjae Spears. Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry were among the star RBs having a rough week for the start of the Fantasy Football playoffs.
Brian Thomas Jr continues to help his fake football teams do great in the playoffs with another strong game, joined by Amon Ra St Brown, Davante Adams, and Mike Evans at the top of the list. Deebo Samuel continued to underperform his team manager's expectations and was joined on Santa’s Naughty list by DK Metcalf, Tank Dell, Josh Downs, and Marvin Harrison Jr.
Johnu Smith continued his strong run of great games and is the best value at the position this year. Trey McBride is still without a TD reception this season but had another great game. Brenton Strange took over for Evan Engram and rewarded those who grabbed him on waivers. In round one, Kyle Pitts, Travis Kelce, and rookie Brock Bowers disappointed their fantasy football managers.
Good luck in the semi-finals this week!
