Week 1 By the Numbers

Fantasy Production by the Numbers Week 1

Fantasy Football is a weekly game that needs weekly tools. But we must get to at least week two before adjusting my Weekly Value and MVP Index values. Every week, I will update you on who is doing the best for the 2024 season and show how that relates to their weekly value going forward. This week, we look just at the week one data to show who got off to the best start. Let’s look at Fantasy Football production by the numbers in week one.

Conclusion

Scoring was way down for many starting-level QBs and TEs in week one. Some players taking in the first three rounds had those game-losing performances less than 5 points that we want to avoid at all costs. Each week, I will look at how players are shaped against these set point values because, quite often, the gap between players from WR24 and WR36 is quite different. Also, starting next week, the 2024 data starts getting weighted into my weekly value tools, which will be a reasonable forecast of what to expect for the rest of the season. Good luck in week two!
