Fantasy Production by the Numbers Week 3

Fantasy Production by the Numbers Week 3

Fantasy Football is a weekly game that needs weekly tools. But we must get to at least week two before adjusting my Weekly Value and MVP Index values. Every week, I will update you on who is doing the best for the 2024 season and show how that relates to their weekly value going forward. This week, we look just at the week one data to show who got off to the best start. Let’s look at Fantasy Football production by the numbers in week three.

Conclusion

Seven QBs hit an elite level or higher in week three, with ten RBs over the elite level, twelve WRs over the elite level, and only seven TEs hitting an elite level or higher. Quite a few top-level QBs, led by CJ Stroud, Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray, and Anthony Richardson, had poor performances this week.

Some higher-drafted RBs struggled, including De’Von Achane, Tony Pollard, Richard White, and Rhamondre Stevenson. Substitute RBs Cam Akers and Carson Steele didn’t live up to high FAAB expectations. JK Dobbins and James Conner were also disappointing. Dionte Johnson woke up with the better QB play in Carolina this week, with rookies Malib Nabers and Rome Odunze justifying their high draft capital. Jauan Jennings had a career game with CMC, Kittle, and Deebo was out of the lineup.

The lack of solid QB play in Miami sank Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Dallas Goedert and Cole Kmet were both late TE draft picks and paid off big time in week three. Brock Bowers had an off week, while Mark Andrews and Isiah Likely were missing in action. Good luck in week four.
